MS Athletic Schedule I Week Ending October 21st

Parents of WES grades 4, 5, 6.
Your child recently witnessed a demonstration of band instruments and also received the attached "rental letter." When I did these demonstrations, I saw a great deal of excitement from students, so I wanted to be sure that you had information in case you wanted to contact me.
THE OPPORTUNITY: This is a chance for your child to learn how to play a band instrument, specifically flute, clarinet, sax, trumpet, or trombone. I am only trying to recruit those five at this time.
COST: The lessons (me teaching them how to play) take place in a weekly 15 minute lesson that is agreed upon between myself and the classroom teacher. The lessons are free because they are within school hours. The cost of the instrument, if your family doesn't already own one, can be huge if you purchase. That is why I recommend renting instead. See the attached flyer from Ellis Music Co. You can rent a quality instrument from most music companies for as little as $20 per month.
TIME: The student needs to practice 15 minutes daily. Between daily practice and the weekly lesson, they will become good performers on the instrument.
Please let me know if you still have questions after looking at the attached documents. I would be happy to answer those questions and would be even happier to get to work with your child.

Family Movie Night I The Addams Family's I Friday, October 14th
The Whitefield School Drama Club invites you to attend a movie night fundraiser featuring "The Addams Family" tomorrow night at 6:00 pm. We will be showing the recently reimagined 2019 retelling of this classic series. "The Addams Family" tells the macabre tale of a kooky family who have a flair for death. The movie is rated PG for some mild language and adult humor.
Families are expected to attend the movie together and unaccompanied children will not be admitted. Concessions and a raffle will be available.
Doors open at 5:30 to purchase tickets, which are available for $3 for adults and $1 for students.
Many thanks to Cameron Seal Coating for sponsoring our movie license agreement. We hope to see you there.
